About Takuya Ohata
Takuya Ohata
previously served as a judge, hearing a wide range of civil and criminal matters. During that time, he was also seconded to the Ministry of Justice’s Criminal Affairs Bureau, where he was involved in the drafting of amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure. Takuya brings this combined experience of judicial decision-making and legislative drafting to his practice, which focuses on antitrust/competition law, consumer law, and personal information protection law.
