About Terry Winstanley

Terry Winstanley of Winstanley Inc. holds master’s degrees in English and Environmental Law. She was a pioneer in the field of environmental law in Southern Africa and has specialised in this sector for 30 years. She is a past president of the Environmental Law Association and a past chair of the Law Society of South Africa’s Environmental Law Committee. Terry has been rated by Chambers Global since 2011 (when Chambers started rating environmental lawyers) and was ranked as a Chambers Band 1 environmental lawyer until 2016. Since 2017, she has been accorded Chambers’ highest accolade of Star Individual.
