About Jenny Georgountzou

Jenny Georgountzou is managing partner and specialises in regulatory compliance, including personal data protection and privacy. She has participated in multinational data protection compliance projects, data training and awareness exercises. She assists clients with security and compliance issues, regulatory filings, notifications, data breach incidents, processing of special categories of personal data, drafting of policies, cross-border data transfers and marketing communications. She also advises clients on corporate law, agency and distribution, franchise, intellectual and industrial property rights. She has contributed to Lexology publications on Data Protection & Privacy (2023) and on Commercial Contracts (2023) for Greece. She is a graduate of the University of Athens, Law School (LL.B.) and Georgetown University (LL.M.), and she is admitted before the Supreme Court of Greece. She speaks Greek, English and French.
