He has extensive experience before diverse fora including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of various states, the National Green Tribunal, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, the central and state Electricity Regulatory Commissions and Districts Courts. Anupam has acquired considerable insight into regulatory, policy, general corporate commercial matters related to distribution utilities in the power sector and PPP projects, with special emphasis on issues relating to statutory approvals, licences for businesses and operations. He handles diverse legal, regulatory and policy issues in the energy efficiency space as well as e-vehicles, allied with aspects of charging infrastructure and related municipal laws. He has advised private utilities in the electricity sector on diverse legal and regulatory aspects, particularly electricity reform and restructuring. He is a member of the Bar Council of India, the Delhi High Court Bar Association and the Supreme Court Bar Association.
