About Diogo Pereira Duarte

Diogo Pereira Duarte is professor of civil and financial law at the University of Lisbon School of Law and a professional partner at Abreu Advogados. He has more than 17 years of practice in investment banking and finance law, with impressive work on some of the most innovative projects in this field. Diogo is a member of the Portugal Fintech Association and an active member of the fintech community. He participated in the negotiations with the Portuguese regulators for the creation of the Portugal FinLab, which is an important communication channel between innovators and Portuguese regulatory authorities.
