Isabel Pinheiro Torres is an associated partner and co-head of the fintech sector at Abreu Advogados. With more than ten years’ experience, her practice is mainly focused on financial regulatory law, particularly regulatory matters including processes for authorisation of regulated entities before the supervisory entities. Isabel provides regulatory assistance on matters relating to crypto-assets, blockchain and crowdfunding in Portugal, while also working with other international law firms bridging entry into the Portuguese market, including under the EU freedom of establishment, providing the regulatory framework and contacts with the Portuguese financial regulators.
