is an associate in the intellectual property group in Sydney, with a particular focus on the life sciences, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. He assists clients with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including patents, trade marks, plant-breeder's rights and breach of confidence. He also works on a range of other matters, including regulatory compliance, licensing and distribution agreements. He has a PhD in chemistry and prior to joining Bird & Bird he worked as a research scientist in leading universities in Australia and the UK, as well as at a top-ten global pharmaceutical company.
