About Cosmina Maria Simion

Cosmina Maria Simion is a managing partner at SIMION & BACIU with more than 23 years of experience in intellectual property, regulatory and technology law. Previously, Cosmina co-headed the gaming practice at Romania's largest law firm; set up and headed the IP and technology practice of a global law firm; and acted as in-house CEE regional counsel for a US media group. Cosmina’s expertise encompasses the full range of regulatory and operational gaming for betting and gaming operators, software and platform suppliers, financial services providers, auditors and certifiers, industry associations or marketing affiliates, including representation before the Romanian regulator. Currently, she acts as First Vice President of the International Masters of Gaming Law and is independently recognised as a leading expert in this field.
