About Barry Kamar

Barry Kamar is a partner in King & Spalding’s Miami office and a seasoned trial lawyer who represents corporate clients and individuals in cross-border government investigations and commercial disputes. Barry has “first-chaired” numerous jury trials and arbitration proceedings, including in various US federal courts and arbitration forums. Before joining King & Spalding, Barry was for many years a federal prosecutor with the US Department of Justice and also a senior counsel in the US Securities & Exchange Commission. Barry also has a deep understanding of commercial issues, having worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and separately in consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is fluent in Arabic and proficient in Spanish.
