Ashwinathan Selvanathan is an associate in the intellectual property and dispute resolution and arbitration practice groups at LAW Partnership. With extensive experience in handling litigious claims, he specialises in copyright, patent and trade mark infringement as well as patent invalidation and trade mark invalidation and passing off. He has assisted in high-profile cases, including Federal Court proceedings involving Anton Piller Orders for a stockbroking client and successfully defended trade mark rights for a prominent candy brand in Court of Appeal proceedings. He also secured a favourable judgment in a High Court patent infringement case and played a key role in a dispute involving one of Malaysia’s largest mobile network companies.
