About Joel Quek

Joel Quek is a partner in WongPartnership’s commercial & corporate disputes, international arbitration and Vietnam practices. He has an active litigation and arbitration practice, handling commercial, corporate and investment disputes across multiple industries and sectors. He is experienced in arbitration-related court proceedings concerning the setting aside and/or enforcement of arbitral awards before the Singapore courts, including representing Deutsche Telekom against the Republic of India in the landmark decision by a five-member Court of Appeal on the enforcement of an investment treaty award. Joel is a member of the IBA Arb40 steering committee, and tutors trial advocacy and a module on institutional arbitration at the National University of Singapore.
