About Cesare Placanica

Cesare Placanica is a solicitor advocate and dispute resolution lawyer at LAWP – Studio legale e tributario, with more than 30 years’ experience in criminal law (and financial crimes, in particular). He has taken part in some of the most important criminal cases in Italian judicial history. Cesare was twice president of the Camera Penale di Roma, the local branch of the Unione delle Camere Penali (the main criminal lawyers association in Italy), where he stood for the rights of private individuals and for the reform of the criminal system. Cesare teaches at Rome’s Luiss Guido Carli University and was recently designated as a prosecutor at the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio.
