About Matthew Edling

Matthew Edling is Sher Edling’s managing partner. He serves as counsel for public entities in litigation related to climate deception, water and land contamination, and natural resources damages involving myriad petrochemical, agrichemical and other man-made contaminants. Over his career, Matt has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for clients. He also has extensive experience in significant commercial matters, involving fraud, securities, insurance bad faith, consumer, financial litigation, and contract claims. Matt has been appointed to leadership positions in multiparty and class actions in state and federal courts, as well as primary counsel in multiparty actions throughout the country.
