About Daniel Lim

Daniel Lim is an IP litigation partner focusing on high-stakes trade secrets matters and life sciences patent litigation, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, diagnostics and the emerging fields of precision medicine and cell and gene therapy. His previous case experience covers a broad range of technical fields, including oncology, molecular diagnostics and biostatistics, often involving issues at the cutting-edge of the law, notably in relation to second medical-use patents. Daniel frequently comments on life sciences and IP topics and is regarded as a thought leader on CRISPR gene editing. He is active as a member of AIPPI and EPLAW, including as vice-chair of AIPPIā€™s standing committee on biotechnology.
