He recently led successful teams in the Court of Appeal, for an individual in his high-value whistle-blowing claims, and in the Employment Appeal Tribunal for Astrea Asset Management in its defence of novel TUPE claims brought by employee directors wishing to enforce extremely beneficial terms agreed with the transferor prior to a TUPE transfer. On corporate matters, David acted for the Chinese purchaser of British Steel in a deal saving thousands of UK jobs following months of union engagement.
