About Donia El-Mazghouny

Donia El-Mazghouny is the managing partner of Mazghouny & Co. Prior to founding the practice, she was a partner with a Tier 1 law firm in Cairo, where she headed the energy and projects team. She specialises in energy law, with a focus on energy and power agreements, and regularly advises clients on the development, financing and acquisition of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as transactional and regulatory matters. She recently advised sponsors on the first investment-grade green project bond refinancing a 400 MW solar power portfolio, as well as on the development of the first green hydrogen and green ammonia projects being set up in Egypt.
