About Matt Basil

Matt Basil is a partner in Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP’s litigation department, regularly called upon by Fortune 500 companies to help with a wide array of commercial disputes and class actions, particularly complex contract, antitrust, financial and fraud litigation matters. Matt’s antitrust experience includes leading the dismissal of a multi-district litigation alleging the client and others purported to be major manufacturers and suppliers of crop inputs, conspiring to fix the prices of their products. He also represented a client in litigation involving a complex Walker Process antitrust suit, concerning alleged violations of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
