About Elliott Smith

Elliott Smith joined Banton Group as a founding partner in February 2020, having worked at top-tier and global law firms in Australia and abroad. He is currently the firm’s deputy managing partner. For more than 16 years, Elliott has gained significant experience and expertise running complex class actions and large-scale commercial, restructuring and insolvency disputes in Australia and the Asia Pacific while also having practised in the Middle East and Europe. His matters primarily consist of both plaintiff and defendant litigation work with a focus on plaintiff class action proceedings and commercial and corporate disputes in respect of misleading and deceptive conduct claims, breaches of the Corporations Act, multi-jurisdictional international arbitration and cross-border trade disputes.
