About Melissa Morgan

Melissa Morgan is a partner at Banton Group who has extensive experience in commercial, corporate and insolvency litigation matters. Melissa regularly acts in class action proceedings (including shareholder class actions), prosecutes matters on behalf of large national corporates and high net worth individuals in a range of corporation litigation, including breaches of trust, fiduciary duties, directors’ duties and breaches of the Corporations Act, and also acts in a number of trust, equity, banking and finance, insolvency, property and consumer and competition-related disputes. Melissa has in-depth knowledge of the legal system, and her experience includes advising and litigating against the Commonwealth of Australia, major auditors and banking institutions, as well as acting for a major sporting organisation and high net worth individuals.
