About Pooja Mehta

Pooja Mehta advises leading domestic fund managers, asset management companies and first-time fund managers for IC Universal Legal on the formation, registration, and documentation of alternative investment funds, including private equity, hedge, venture capital, real estate funds and debt funds. She has played a pivotal role in representing fund managers in various LP-GP negotiations against global DFIs, family offices and domestic institutions. Pooja also has significant experience structuring India-focused offshore funds, including setting up funds in GIFT City. She regularly liaises with the SEBI and IFSCA as part of their various policy initiatives on investment funds.
