About Lauren Barel

Lauren Barel has over 20 years’ experience specialising in employment law, including more than a decade practising as an employment lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer before co-founding Workdynamic Australia. Based in Sydney, Lauren is regularly engaged to conduct complex workplace investigations, often in anticipation of litigation, and under legal professional privilege. She advises both public and private sector clients on all aspects of employment law, and has particular experience in conducting investigations in the tertiary sector and pursuant to public interest disclosure legislation for both state and federal government agencies.
