Connie N. Bertram is the founder and managing partner of Washington, DC-based firm Bertram LLP. After 30 years in Big Law, Connie founded Bertram in 2020 to focus on negotiations and disputes at the ownership, executive and board level. Connie represents companies, boards and individual executives and owners in transactions and disputes, including contract and equity disputes, “business divorces”, tort claims and IP, trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes. She conducts confidential internal investigations concerning complaints of C-Suite-level executives, including allegations of fraud, theft or misuse of company data, discrimination, harassment and code of conduct violations. She prosecutes and defends business, employment, trade secret, restrictive covenant and “business divorce” cases across the USA.
