Mag. Dr. Daniel Damjanovic, LL.M. (Virginia) has been counselling clients in corporate, foundation, and capital markets law for almost two decades now. Furthermore, he is one of the leading Liechtenstein law experts concerning issues relating fin-tech, token and trustworthy service providers. He has led and advised high-caliber clients in many pristine international cross-border transactions. Amongst many others, in 2014, he has advised a prominent client in the insurance industry on a re-domiciliation and cross-border merger. In 2015, he was lead counsel on an in-bound sale and merger transaction between the third and fourth largest Liechtenstein bank. In 2017, he advised the seller on the Liechtenstein side in one of the largest Liechtenstein cross-border sale transactions between an Austrian bank and a Liechtenstein bank. In 2019, he was lead counsel of the largest Liechtenstein cross border transaction. He has been partner of Marxer & Partner since 2015. Daniel holds a Magister iuris degree (magna cum laude) and a Doctor iuris degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Vienna. Furthermore, he has earned a Master of Laws degree from the University of Virginia. Daniel is admitted to the bar in Austria and Liechtenstein and is a lecturer for Liechtenstein Foundation Law & Persons and Companies Law at the University of Innsbruck.
