About Fausto Alvarado

Fausto Alvarado is a special counsel at Robalino, and has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on competition matters, consumer defence, data protection, and compliance. Fausto has participated in cases related to a wide range of industries. He was the first chief of the competition authority, is the author of Organic Law for the Regulation and Control of Market Power, and is a consultant for several international organisations on competition and consumer defence, such as CAN, EU, IDB, and CAF. Fausto is the president of the Ecuadorian Institute of Competition Law (IEDC) and a professor of competition law.
