Gabriel Lobato is a lawyer at FCM Law. He holds an LLM in Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Rio), has specialised training in blockchain and digital assets through the Mastering Web3 programme at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, and has also completed specialised training in Financial Compliance through Legal, Ethics and Compliance (LEC). He holds CPRED certification and advises start-ups and technology-driven companies, with a focus on regulatory compliance for innovative business models, particularly those based on blockchain. He is a board member and an associate researcher at the Institute for Collaboration and Blockchain (ICoLab).
