About Akihiro Goda

Akihiro Goda is an associate attorney of TMI Associates. Before joining TMI in 2019, he had worked as an assistant judge in Kyoto District Court, Shizuoka Family Court and Shizuoka District Court, mainly handling civil cases, family cases and criminal cases, respectively. He graduated from the University of Michigan (LLM) and was a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School. His high expertise in litigation, together with his experiences in the US, enables him to practise in a wide range of areas, including international dispute resolution, risk management and M&A. He also represents in some large-scale litigations which involve well-known companies in Japan.
