About Lorna Mainnah

Lorna Mainnah is a partner at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews and head of the firm’s Real Estate department. She is widely known as an experienced real estate practitioner, having practised at the company for the past 17 years. In this time, she has built a client portfolio of high-value clients and has advised on the entire spectrum of land and land-related issues, including large-scale conveyancing matters and representing clients in complex commercial real estate transactions. She also advises on a multitude of complex land transactions that include the development of Kenya’s first grade “A” logistics and distribution Warehouse Park, and complex residential and commercial land matters. She has extensive and broad-based experience advising clients in the areas of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, development projects, foreign investment, financings, zoning and regulation, development and user conversions of property, hotel development, operation and management and sale as well as leasing of property.
