About Román Mejías

Román Mejías is a partner at ZADAL. He has a distinguished national and international track record in debt finance. He advises on complex, high-value financing transactions for financial institutions, multinational companies, and investment funds in Spain and across international markets. His expertise includes direct lending, non-performing loans, refinancing, debt restructuring, and the co-ordination of multinational financing structures. Prior to joining ZADAL, Román was part of the Debt Finance department at Cuatrecasas, where he worked on some of the market’s most significant transactions. He holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Navarra. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
