About Carlos Valls Martínez

Carlos Valls Martínez is an IP and defamation lawyer, with a significant practice also in arbitration, general litigation and transactional work. Carlos was the founder and head of the Clifford Chance Barcelona office until 2002 when he left the equity partnership to found his own law firm, Iuris Valls Abogados. After ten years, he merged his firm with Augusta Abogados. Then he joined GIRÓ MARTÍNEZ as a partner in December of 2021. His most recent defamation case involved an international NGO said to be financing terrorism in the Middle East in an article in a Spanish newspaper of widespread circulation.
