is a partner in Michael J Staines & Company and heads up the Private Client division of the office. Aoife graduated from University College Cork with a BCL law and French and from the University of Edinburgh with a masters in international law. She specialises in corporate, regulatory and health and safety litigation and the defence of "white-collar" prosecutions. She represented the former Chairman and Chief Executive of Anglo Irish Bank, Sean Fitzpatrick in the longest criminal trial in the history of the State and in which Mr Fitzpatrick was acquitted.
