About Pieter Paepe

Pieter Paepe is an attorney at law at the Brussels Bar and a partner at EDSON, where he focuses on Belgian and EU business law, competition law and regulatory matters. Pieter assists numerous clients with Belgian gaming law. He also advises and represents gaming clients in competition and state aid matters. In addition, Pieter has a broad commercial and competition litigation practice. He has appeared in proceedings before the Belgian courts and the Belgian Competition Authority, as well as before the EC. He has handled several cases before the ECJ, including on the Belgian government’s behalf. He has helped Belgium to create ground-breaking precedents before the ECJ.
