About Christine Kowbel

Christine Kowbel is a partner at Lawson Lundell, practising environmental and Indigenous law. She advises on major project development, environmental assessment, permitting, operational and compliance matters, and the acquisition and sale of industrial projects. Christine provides specialist mining industry advice on the permitting and regulatory aspects of the exploration, development, operation and closure of mining projects. Other clients include energy, forestry and other natural resource sector companies, as well as banking institutions and real estate developers. She is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the Canadian Bar Association: Environmental Law, Administrative Law, and Natural Resources, and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
