About Jonas Weickert

Jonas Weickert is a founding partner of Thum & Partner. He focuses on contentious patent matters, with particular emphasis on opposition, nullity and UPC proceedings in German, European and cross-border disputes. Jonas works in teams across law firms on large infringement cases, such as Edwards v Meril and NJOY v Juul. He has been involved in 20 UPC proceedings to date, and has pleaded in 14 main hearings at four venues, including the Court of Appeal. His practice combines litigation experience with strong expertise in patent prosecution and the co-ordination of parallel proceedings.
