About Luis Jiménez

Luis Jiménez is a partner in the banking and finance practice area of Uría Menéndez's Madrid office. He joined the firm in 2010 and was named partner in 2021. Between May 2015 and June 2016, he was based in Uría Menéndez’s office in New York City. He focuses his practice on debt restructuring transactions, corporate lending, acquisition finance and project finance, advising both lenders and borrowers. He has been involved in some of the largest and most innovative financing and debt restructuring transactions in Spain in recent years. Luis has also participated in several M&A transactions and project finance related to the energy sector.
