About Judge Platt

Judge Platt is a founding partner of Platt Richmond. His practice focuses on real estate and business matters for local, regional and national clients. He has guided diverse development projects from land assemblage and entitlement to municipal partnerships and financing, and structures acquisitions and dispositions across multiple asset classes – raw land, retail, office, industrial and multifamily. His experience includes distressed-debt acquisitions, debt restructuring, entity formation and dispute resolution among developers, municipalities, investors, contractors, and landlords and tenants. Judge holds a BS from TCU, an MBA from SMU Cox and a JD from SMU Dedman School of Law.
