About Gonca Adalı Başmakcı

Gonca Adalı Başmakcı is a Turkish patent and trade mark attorney and the director of Ankara Patent’s IP department, having joined the team in 2002. Gonca received a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from Bilkent University and a master’s degree in production and marketing from Gazi University, before joining a two-year programme at the Institute of Justice to improve her skills and broaden her horizons. Gonca’s area of expertise covers portfolio management, strategy development for trade mark/industrial design application processes, and registration and enforcement procedures for local and foreign clients alike.
