About Önder Erol Ünsal

Önder Erol Ünsal has been working as an IP consultant at Ankara Patent since resigning from government in 2020, having served in different departments of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT), including the Appeal Board. Önder started his career as a trade mark examiner at TÜRKPATENT in 1997 and worked for the World Intellectual Property Organization for a year in 2012. He has participated in the conventions of many national and international organisations, as a speaker or trainer. Önder is the author of numerous articles and two books about IP and is the founder of Türkiye’s most popular IP blog.
