About Ana Rafaela Balas

Ana Rafaela Balas is an associate in Sérvulo’s corporate and M&A department. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, she worked in the corporate and governance department of Gouveia Pereira, Costa Freitas & Associados and, prior to that, in the commercial and corporate law team of Carlos Olavo & Associados. Her practice focuses on advising clients on corporate acquisitions and disposals, mergers, business unit transfers and other corporate law matters, as well as providing ongoing legal support to venture capital clients. Ana holds a master’s degree in legal and forensic sciences and a law degree from the University of Coimbra.
