About Miguel Angel Hernandez Romo

Miguel Angel Hernandez Romo of Foley & Lardner obtained his law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City in 1960 and his LLM from Harvard Law School in 1961. He has been a professor of law since 1961 and specialises in civil, commercial, arbitration and bankruptcy proceedings. He studied in Rome at the Gregorian University and is the former Dean of Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City. A member of the American Law institute, he was the chair and co-reporter for the Transnational Insolvency Project, Mexico, of the American Law Institute. He is a member of the American College of Bankruptcy and has written several articles on Mexican civil, commercial and procedural law.
