About Mohammad Jaber

Mohammad Jaber is an associate lawyer at Basrah Obelisk Law Firm Ltd and advises international clients in the energy infrastructure, and construction sectors on Iraqi legal and regulatory matters. Since 2024, he has supported multinational clients focusing on oil and gas regulation, labour compliance and governmental approvals. He has led the registration of over 20 foreign branch offices in Iraq and delivered more than 20 legal opinions for major energy clients. His work includes drafting/reviewing various commercial agreements, and managing social security compliance. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Lebanese University and has completed international legal training with The Hague and the ICRC.
