About Andrea S Kramer

Andrea S Kramer (Andie) is the founding member of ASKramer Law, and counsels clients on a wide range of complex trading operations; the regulation and taxation of financial products and emerging asset classes of all kinds; and related governance, risk and compliance issues. Previously, Kramer was a partner at McDermott Will & Schulte for 30 years. She has a BA from the University of Illinois and a JD from Northwestern University. Kramer previously served as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and has delivered specialist training courses at the US Treasury and the IRS for more than two decades. Her two-volume, 4,000-page reference, Financial Products: Taxation, Regulation, and Design, now in its fourth edition, has been updated annually for more than 30 years.
