About Jason Markwell

Jason Markwell is a partner at Markwell Clarizio LLP, and a leading patent litigation and drug regulatory lawyer in Canada. He has years of experience acting for the life sciences industry in drug regulatory disputes, patent litigation and appeals. Jason has appeared as counsel in precedent-setting cases before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Federal Court. He is active in various IP organisations, including the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. He is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of the Advocates’ Society.
