About Marcel Reurs

Marcel Reurs is an immigration attorney with over 30 years of experience. He is a frequent lecturer, a contributing co-editor to the leading commentary on the Dutch Immigration Act, the previous editor-in-chief of the Journal on Dutch Immigration Law, and chief of the editorial board of Jurisprudence on Immigration Law. He teaches and examines the Dutch National Bar Association’s course on immigration law, and he served the Ministry of Justice as an expert adviser in the immigration policy reform, Modern Migration Policies. Marcel is a member of the IBA and the Dutch specialist associations for immigration lawyers, SVMA and WRV and an international associate to AILA.
