About Ana Carolina Lopes de Carvalho

Ana Carolina Lopes de Carvalho is a partner at Marcos Verissimo Advogados. She worked for several years at the Brazilian Competition Authority, actively participating in the design and implementation of regulations adopted following the publication of the current Law of Competition Defence in 2011. Ana contributed to the development of Guides on Gun Jumping and Compliance, initiatives that have won international awards. With over ten years of experience in corporate law, Ana has represented clients at CADE and other public bodies, working on significant corporate concentration operations, investigations, leniency agreements, and in the implementation of partnerships, and new business strategies. She is the author of various articles on topics related to the Competition Law.
