is a partner at Habib Al Mulla and Partners specialising in construction and commercial arbitration and litigation. He has acted as counsel in arbitrations under the ICC, DIAC, LCIA, ICSID and UNCITRAL rules and recognised by a leading legal directory. Matthew is a solicitor-advocate qualified in England, a registered DIFC legal practitioner of the DIFC and ADGM courts, and an arbitrator. He advises on complex, high-value construction disputes and commercial, energy, oil and gas, real estate, telecommunications and shareholder disputes. Matthew has represented governments and multinational companies in investment treaty arbitrations, previously practised at Herbert Smith and holds an MA (Hons) in History and Law from the University of Cambridge.
