About Ricardo Rozas

Ricardo Rozas is a partner at JJR and leads its insurance, reinsurance and transport practice group. He has vast experience in marine and non-marine insurance and reinsurance, including in regularly assisting the global reinsurance market, and in several flagship cases of the Chilean (re)insurance industry. He advises in all related areas, including policy coverage advice, liability defence and assessment, wordings/policy structures, dealing with Chilean compulsory adjustment procedures and the Chilean regulator (CMF), and representation of foreign reinsurers. He was the first Latin-American Chair of the Maritime and Land Transport Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) (2015–2016), and currently serves as advisory board member. He is a regular speaker at different conferences around the world and author of several publications.
