About Dieter Buchberger

Dieter Buchberger is a founding partner at KPMG Law in Vienna and heads the banking and finance team. He advises national and international clients on banking and capital markets matters, with a particular focus on investment funds law. His practice centres on supporting foreign and domestic investment funds in all legal matters, especially regulatory issues and the recovery of damages. He is also engaged in multijurisdictional financing transactions, including securitisations. His clients range from asset management companies to major credit institutions and multinational corporations. Dieter is author and co-author of peer-reviewed articles and the standard commentary on Austrian Investment Funds Law.
