About Alexandre Meyniel

Alexandre Meyniel of Cartier Meyniel is a member of the Paris and New York Bars and specialises in international arbitration and corporate litigation. Alexandre has acted as counsel in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings governed by the main arbitration rules (ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce) and in complex corporate disputes involving corporate law (shareholder disputes, warranty indemnification, governance) as well as commercial law (distribution, franchise, commercial agents). He has developed expertise in the field of enforcement and in the development and co-ordination of multi-jurisdictional procedures for securing assets ‒ notably, in the context of disputes involving foreign states. Alexandre used to practise with Scemla Loizon Veverka & de Fontmichel (now Viguié Schmidt).
