About Carolina Mauri

Carolina Mauri has more than 20 years’ experience in sustainable development, environmental law, and policy design and implementation on climate change, energy, biodiversity and forestry issues. She served as a national climate change adviser to former president (and Nobel laureate) Oscar Arias. At Axioma Estudio Legal, she acts as a consultant and adviser on sustainability, ESG, due diligence, climate change, energy, and environmental issues in Central America to national and international organisations. She holds a master’s degree in international law from American University Washington College of Law, and a law degree from the University of Costa Rica.
