About Amanda Heale

Amanda Heale is a partner in Osler’s tax group. Her practice focuses on tax controversy and litigation, transfer pricing and international tax. Amanda has been involved in some of Canada’s most significant tax disputes, including the first and only transfer pricing case heard by the Supreme Court of Canada and the first case to consider the transfer pricing “re-characterisation” rules. Amanda assists clients seeking resolution of tax disputes through the administrative appeals process and the mutual agreement procedure under bilateral tax treaties, as well as those seeking certainty through the advance pricing arrangements programme.
